A cape that ties with a single bow at the neck and falls in soft folds, finished with pom poms down the front and around the hem. Put it on and a child becomes someone else entirely; a queen, a wolf, a traveller in a story of their own. It is made to be played in, not kept for best.

Suggested fabrics: Sequin mesh, lined in unbleached cotton; both 140 cm wide
You will need: Sequin mesh and unbleached cotton lining; pom pom trim, 180 cm; cotton herringbone tape for the neck tie; 18 mm sew-on popper; matching thread
Inside: Full-size pattern sheets; illustrated step-by-step instructions
Care: Spot clean only
