Movie Night: A Printable Evening at Home

A home movie experience that encourages creativity and a large dash of enchantment.

Tonight the lounge is a cinema. The lamps are low, the curtains are closing, and on the table, waiting for you, is a ticket with your name on it. Before the film begins there are the small things: a popcorn box to fold, a poster to draw for tonight's feature, tickets to hand out at the door, a programme to leave on the arm of the sofa, and a megaphone for whoever is calling everyone in. Then the lights go down, slowly, one lamp at a time, and the story begins.

You will need

A printer, scissors, glue and card (paper will do, but card is better); pens and pencils for the things to be written and drawn by hand; string or ribbon for the signs and the star garland; glitter, if you like; a film, chosen carefully; and an evening.

A note on printing

Print at actual size (100%, no scaling). Print the ticket page once for each guest, and the garland page as many times as you need for the length you want.
